My sister came to stay with us this weekend, the day after I took a trip to Urgent Care, so I haven't had much time to write. Physical pain is not a great motivator for inspired writing the way emotional pain has been.
Vacation is over, the sky was over-cast and the air brought a chill. I relished at the thought of throwing on a over-sized sweater and finally enjoying the evening for once, in months. It has been a hard hitting Summer across the country, and a short one at that. With the temperatures as they were, though, I look forward to a frigid day. I got what may have been my first tan ever during those months, not that it is visible to the untrained eye.
The hacker group "Anonymous" is threatening to take down Facebook, which made me realize that my entire photographic collection of my life resides on Facebook. Needless to say, it freaked me out and I decided to download all the pictures that had meaning to me (which were many) or the pictures that, (if by some crazy chance) if I happen to have a child, I could show them and say, "Look at all of the amazing things Mom has done." Not that they're so amazing, but I am proud of them, and I'd like to be able to share that with someone someday. Perhaps I should invest in an actual photo album.
How do you keep your photos safe and sound?
xo
Ps. Doesn't she just look cozy?
