Successful Meatball Recipe (When there is no Dairy present):
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons spicy mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup Italian Style breadcrumbs
A healthy dash of parmesan cheese
They turned out absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend oven-browning them for 20 minutes and then letting them simmer with the sauce for about 10.
Gifts:(I gave Ryan his favorite pastime, Hockey.)
After dinner we decided to head to our usual spot, Caribou on Grand, and enjoy the beautiful evening. The sun had dimmed, the breeze had picked up and I felt warm and cool all at once. He called up a friend of his whom I'd never really gotten to meet, and we ended up talking all night about Ayn Rand, old movies, relationships, and style. I'm always grateful when I meet someone who is a kindred spirit, and the honesty of the program has really given me an opportunity to seek it out. Hear's to chocolate ice cream covered in sprinkles and nuts at midnight!
I couldn't have asked for a better anniversary. Now I'm in preparation mode, my sister is coming to visit this weekend. Hopefully the storms will shimmy around us so we can spend time exploring the little (but fascinating) City of Saint Paul.
