Read.

If you haven't had the opportunity to pick up this graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi, I highly recommend it. A quick read, yet thought-provoking and enlightening. I was moved to tears when reading about the loss of her friend. Enraged by the regime's disregard for women because their hair caused excitement in men. Heartened when she was allowed to attend university after being entirely honest with an official. It will awaken your sympathies to those under an oppressive power, and teach about the rich and unfortunate history of a once thriving country.
I'm curious and turned on to the culture of Iran, and hope to learn more about it and it's mythologies. What are you reading these days?

Find it here.
(Another great read)
