I had to leave my music filled home for two reasons: The music was so pleasant that I didn't want to turn it off, and I made a deal with myself to write everyday. Here I am.

I had a perspective change several months back regarding shopping, clothes, material things which involved me realizing that I like nice things, that there is nothing wrong with that, but that I have to have balance like all things in my life. The ultimate perspective change became more about how I budget, save, and provide rather than about the items I think I want. I have purchased several things since then, several things that I adore and I know will last.

It was cloudy today, cloudy and soft so I threw on a comfortable top and jeans. Alas, Summer is still involved in its onslaught upon the poor folk of Minnesota. Thank God for airconditioning. It is Day 2 of my vacation, and my friend, Sara, and I spent a pleasant afternoon shopping for her interview, talking about our lives and relationships. I don't want it to ever end.

This blog is a little sloppy, I'm still trying to figure it all out.
