Another day of training for Macy's tomorrow. I will be hunched over a computer, trying to keep the headphones from slipping off my ears which turns out to be a tedious task when done for 4 hours. I look forward to the time when I actually have responsibility, something that wills me to take the bus on a rainy day. Fortunately, I am aware of the mistake I made last time, searching for about an hour for the nearest bus stop, and won't make it again so I can spare my feet the agony of walking in heels.
There isn't much on the horizon, birds, except for an interesting concert this weekend. My cousin will be playing with his band, WIVE, at an Apple Store in a mall. We laughed about this over a cup of coffee recently. I'm very anxious to hear them play in person, and I'm certain that it will truly be a wonderful experience no matter the location. I would love to follow them around the country, watching them in dim bars, crowded venues, mostly for the sake of traveling around the country. If you haven't seen by now, let me assure you that I have an itch to travel. An insatiable desire to see each and every part of the world, up close and personal. Perhaps that has become cliche and do-able, but I dream about it consistently, dream of saving each penny for the simple purpose of snatching up books in a different languages that I can proudly display on my desk.
From your mild-mannered bibliophibian, sweet dreams of distant lands. xo
